About The Event
Description:
Is it rational to believe in revealed religion? Many skeptics argue that the diversity of religious claims undermines any confidence in knowing which one is true. Others suggest that since everyone thinks they are right, no one can be. In response, most defenses of faith focus on showing that belief in God is reasonable. Rather than treating skepticism as the default position, he challenges the assumption that doubt is neutral, showing instead that rejecting revelation leads to intellectual and moral incoherence.
