The Austin Institute is a place for research scholars and UT students and faculty to examine the truths of love, the family, and human sexuality. In addition to fostering and disseminating sound academic research and organizing programs, the Austin Institute is a community of people who are eager to engage in honest conversations, moved by a spirit of truth-seeking, and desiring to flourish as whole persons.

Our activity extends from lectures and events on campus, dinners at our institute home, Stumberg Hall, to national research on issues facing the family.
