What's the big deal about divorce? Why should we read and talk about it when everyone around us seems to be fine with it? The truth is: no matter what our family background, our age, or our state in life is, we all need to rediscover the immense impact that family life has on us and on our culture.

About The Event

In the short course of two Tuesdays, we will meet to discuss together the essay that one of the greatest Catholic philosophers of our day wrote in the early ‘70s.

The group is open to all. Prior registration is required.

Missbrauch der Sprache, Missbrauch der Macht is a very short book, but it is a great and useful resource to navigate and to understand our complex times. Recent critics of our big government, big tech, big data society, such as Michael Matheson Miller, author of Digital Contagion, have suggested its reading and praised its prophetic insight. An insight coupled by the clarity by which Pieper, as usual, shows us that nothing in our lives continues to go well once and if we forget our relational nature.
