About The Event
About our speaker:
Joshua S. Treviño is the Chief Transformation Officer at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, in which role he explores pathways for future Foundation action and develops forecasts for Texas and the nation. Prior to his service as CTO, he was vice president of strategy at the Illinois Policy Institute in Chicago.
About the Austin Institute Colloquia:
Each Colloquium takes place at the Austin Institute on the first Thursday of every month. We begin with a 20-minute introduction by a guest speaker — someone with deep interest and knowledge in the topic at hand. From there, we move into 30 minutes of open discussion, where participants and speaker alike are invited to think aloud, ask questions, and exchange ideas in a spirit of seriousness, curiosity, and mutual respect.
