About The Event

If prudence is a decision to act “based on the circumstances,” how did the sexual revolution affect the choices women are to make in order to be happy?

Over the course of 5 Mondays--and over the very long holidays--we will read and discuss some provocative essays by Mary Eberstardt, Mark Regnerus and J. Budziszewski. We will explore the several ways in which the sexual revolution changed women’s relations to their bodies and to the opposite sex, asking ourselves what Prudence recommends today. This is a women's reading group.

We will meet at the Austin Institute for those in town, and through Zoom for those joining us remotely.
