What's the big deal about divorce? Why should we read and talk about it when everyone around us seems to be fine with it? The truth is: no matter what our family background, our age, or our state in life is, we all need to rediscover the immense impact that family life has on us and on our culture.

About The Event

We are having another movie night at the institute! We will be watching Shadowlands with pizza and popcorn!

This 1993 British movie tells the story of C.S. Lewis, the renowned author of "The Chronicles of Narnia," and of "The Screwtape Letters" (and of too many more excellent books). In it, we learn about his life as a scholar at Oxford, his encounter with Love, and his journey in the Christian faith. In short, it is a perfect Austin Institute movie: where intellectual formation and family life are the complimentary pillars of flourishing lives.

Come out to enjoy a delightful drama and romance followed by an always engaging discussion among friends, everything accompanied by some good snacks.

Doors open at 8:00 PM, with pizza and popcorn as snacks. The movie will start shortly thereafter.

Register to save your spot - and tell your friends!

In case of inclement weather, this event will be moved to May 6th.
