About The Event
Goethe once said, "Out of moderation a pure happiness springs." Without moderation, we cannot be free and we cannot be happy, but how do we acquire the virtue in the first place? And how do we instill it in our kids? Join us at Founders Classical Academy of Leander on February 27th at 7:00 PM as Dr. Michael Foley (Ph.D., Boston College) discusses the quest for moderation and the challenges we often face along the way.
Dr. Michael Foley received his Ph.D. from Boston College and his B.S. and B.A. from Santa Clara College. He is the author of three books: The Politically Incorrect Guide to Christianity (Regnery, 2017), Drinking with the Saints: The Sinner's Guide to a Holy Happy Hour (Regnery, 2015), and Why Do Catholics Eat Fish on Friday? The Catholic Origin to Just About Everything (Palgrave Macmillan, 2005). He married his wonderful wife Alexandra, got a job as an Associate Professor of Patristics in the Great Texts Program at Baylor University, and has had six great kids along the way.
