About The Event
In a culture increasingly confused about manhood, The Road to Integrity offers a space for men to gather, reflect, and speak honestly about what it means to live well as a man.
Hosted by the Austin Institute, this monthly program invites undergraduate, graduate, and professional men into serious, fraternal conversation about the challenges and responsibilities unique to modern men. Some sessions involve a shared reading—drawn from classic texts or contemporary reflections—while others are built around open discussion or guided conversation. Meetings are led by male staff or friends of the Institute, and from time to time, guest speakers join to enrich the conversation with their own experience and wisdom.
This year, the men's group will focus on some of the virtues, their corresponding vices, and their appearance in the modern world. We will discuss how men can draw on this millennial human wisdom - virtue ethics - to better order…
