About The Event
About the event:
Throughout the centuries, the Church has experienced and overcome several crises. Most recently, it has renewed its liturgy, seen a Pope resign, and fought scandals that most Catholics had thought unthinkable within the clergy. Through an historical lens, Father Roberto Regoli, Professor of Church History at the Gregoriana University in Rome, and author of the book “Beyond the Crises of the Church” will walk us through some of the church's recent past - and in particular the pontificate of Benedict XVI - while answering questions about what is old, what is new, and what awaits the faithful.
The Austin Institute for the Study of Family and Culture is co-sponsoring this event and invites you and your family to join us for an evening of intellectual growth and Christian fellowship.
