About The Event
Laura Dunn, an accomplished filmmaker, is inviting young women to join us at the Austin Institute for the screening of a short teaser and, above all, for the interesting conversation that will inevitably follow. After directing movies like Green (2000), Look & See: A Portrait of Wendell Berry (2016) and All Illusions Must Be Broken (2024), Laura is now developing a personal documentary that explores contemporary feminism through the lens of motherhood. Just like we do, she would love to hear how younger women are processing these themes.
Light refreshments will be provided.
