About The Event
In this seminar, we will consider the theme of maturity in Shakespeare’s Hamlet. There is little doubt that if Hamlet were around today, he would be living in his parents’ basement. But what is the mature response to betrayal and murder? What does the transition from youth to adulthood entail in the realms of love and duty? Join us as we explore these and other key themes of Shakespeare’s timeless masterpiece.
The first meeting, Tuesday, Sept 27th, will be a special event starting earlier than normal: 6:00 PM. We will watch the movie Hamlet and provide pizza half way through.
