About The Event

This coming fall, the Austin Institute is launching a new book club, open to Austin's young professionals ages 21 and up that is meant to become a new venue for intellectual and human enrichment. It is also the best place to make new friends!

In line with our mission, we will look at literature that speaks to the most profound human needs, and yet deals with the most contemporary issues: such as religion, sex, and family life.

Whenever possible, we will try to have authors join our live conversations, which will be hosted in our beautiful backyard. A glass of wine will always be offered.

Click here to register. By the way, the first book has been chosen: it will be The Benedict Option, by Rod Dreher.
